Can you install a charger I already bought?
Yes. We install customer-provided Level 2 chargers, hardwired or on a 240-volt receptacle, and make sure the charger, the circuit and your panel are properly matched.
Will my electrical panel handle an EV charger?
Many can, some cannot. A Level 2 charger is a large continuous load, usually on a 40 to 60 amp circuit. We start with an electrical capacity evaluation, and if your panel or service is too small we quote the upgrade alongside the install, so there are no surprises.
Hardwired or plug-in?
Hardwiring supports higher charging speeds and removes the receptacle as a wear point. A 240-volt receptacle lets you swap or take the charger with you. We will recommend the right one for your charger and how you drive.
Do I need a permit for an EV charger?
A new 240-volt circuit generally needs an electrical permit and inspection in Indianapolis-area jurisdictions. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection as part of the job.
How much does EV charger installation cost?
Standard Level 2 installations start at $950, materials and labor, including the dedicated circuit. Distance from the panel and any capacity upgrade affect the price, and you get a written estimate before work begins.
Do you install commercial and workplace chargers?
Yes — workplace and commercial Level 2 charging, and DC fast charging solutions for applicable commercial sites. Dealerships are welcome to send new EV owners straight to us.
